Following an extensuve and loving restoration and refurbishment, the Turkish Baths at Newcastle City Baths has officially reopened!
The Turkish Baths, set in a Grade II listed historic building, were originally built in 1927.
We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome you back to indulge in a deeply relaxing and rejuvinating experience. A lot of time and effort has gone into this fantastic project, and we’re excited for you to see the final results.
Unwind in the tranquil atmosphere and just let go of any stress you may have. It’s time to treat yourself to a little slice of luxury and history right here at The City Baths, Newcastle.
Turkish Baths sessions are available on both a pay as you go basis, or membership – we have two memberships that include access to The Baths:
1. Turkish Baths & Swim membership

2. Premium membership
✅ Unlimited access to the gym
✅ Unlimited access to the pool
✅ Unlimited classes
✅ Access to the Turkish Baths for one session per day
